 AMC factory riders and privateers took a battery of racers to the Island in 1954, including 'works' AJS E95 Porcupines and triple valve 7R3's, a mass of Matchless G45s ans AJS 7Rs. Rod Coleman won the Junior TT at 91.5mph with fellow team rider Derek Farrant second, both riding 7R3's.
